This book is meant to be background for a first undergraduate college course in anatomy and physiology. At least one of the 2 main authors teaches in a junior college. To its credit the book presents its material in bite size chunks with frequent self-tests.

The book covers elementary biology, chemistry, and physics as applied to human anatomy and physiology.

I enjoyed the book- but you should understand what you are buying.
